Backgammon is one of those games I don’t play too often, but here you have a new version for Windows Mobile. The game is pretty easy to play and instructions are included, you can set sounds on/off, and play against the machine or a human player. Some level of difficulty can be selected through the menus.

The games is compiled for .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and you will need it in order to play the game. If you have a device with Windows Mobile 5.0, the version 2.0 of the framework is probably already installed, however, you will need to upgrade it to run the game.

You can download the binaries, copy them uncompressed to your device or memory card and just hit the .exe file. If you feel like playing with the source code, please download it and check it out.
